Prior to coming to WHO 13, Salois worked as a weekend meteorologist and reporter at WQOW-TV in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Megan remembers The Ladysmith tornado which hit a small town before 5 PM on Labor Day 2002. That evening, she was covering the nightly weathercasts, thus the tornado warning went live as it was approaching Downtown Ladysmith. Several news reports about the cleanup and recovery in the small Wisconsin community came after that. Megan and her family live in Urbandale. They love being outside on the trails and at various parks. She also loves cooking and trying new recipes. The family is also active in St. Pius Catholic Church.
