She also worked as a host for the Public Broadcasting Service in Houston, Texas  doing documentaries  and interviews for almost an year. Afterward, she joined the KLFY NEWS 10 team in Lafayette, Louisiana and served as a morning anchor and reporter. She did morning shows and handled interviews and cooking segments for over 2 years.

Next, Alexandra worked as a freelance reporter and traffic reporter at KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas, the USA where she did traffic reports and handled newscast packages for 1 year. She also got a job at Sinclair Broadcast Group in Dayton, Ohio as a reporter and fill-in anchor incharge of finding contacts and producing newscast for about 2 years.
