Andy began his journalism career as a news producer at WCSC-TV Live 5 News in Charleston South Carolina. After that, he was hired as an Investigative reporter at WSPA-TV CBS 7 IN Greenville, SC.
In his capacity as an Investigative reporter, he has held stints in many stations across the nation, including WBBH-WZVN in Southwest Florida, KVUE News in Austin, Texas, and NBC TV /11Alive News in Atlanta, Georgia. Andy has received numerous Emmys, the Edward R. Murrow Award, the George Foster Peabody Award, and the DuPont Columbia Award.
His investigations have resulted in significant state fines, sentencing, the release of a guy from prison, and changes to state laws. Additionally, Andy is a proud alumnus of the University of South Carolina. He was given the Distinguished Alumni Award by USC in 2018.
