Aaron began his journalism career working on the radio when he was 18 years old, working for Radio Disney although he later moved to L.A. and became a TV presenter for the Orange County lifestyle/news program Daybreak OC. The show broadcasts to the entire L.A. area. He then worked as a KSWB (San Diego) features reporter until WNBC hired him to host WNBC’s New York Live for NBCUniversal.
In New York, Aaron was declared winner at three consecutive Emmys for “Best Features Reporter.” He excellently co-hosted the nationally syndicated television show, Crazy Talk. Also. he was a correspondent for “Extra.” Aaron later co-hosted Pickler & Ben, a syndicated chat program, with artist Kellie Pickler in September 2017. Following the cancelation of that chat program in the summer of 2019, he returned to New York, where he was hired by Pickler & Ben as a morning features reporter for their newly acquired New York station, WPIX-TV, at the start of 2020.
