Bradley put his six-bedroom, custom-built house in Hinsdale on the market for $1.9 million. The house has 5 1/2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, refinished hardwood floors, a dining room with a tray ceiling, new lighting, new countertops, new paint, and new carpeting.

Also, it is a 0.2-acre property that has a patio and an outdoor fireplace. In mid-2010, he purchased the house for $1.38 million from its builder, Oakley Home Builders. Further, he is under investigation succeeding Patch’s report that said he has been underpaying property taxes.

This was uncovered after he listed his house for sale. As per the Cook County treasurer’s office, the house had a $4,999 property tax bill in the 2020 tax year. Additionally, Bradley pleaded incomprehension when questioned by Patch about the low tax rate.

“When questions were raised, we immediately reached out to the assessor’s office and have heard nothing back. If, and when, they get back to me, I will of course pay the amount due … as I have always done in the past. If the assessor wants to claim I owe something different, and that’s proven true, of course I’m going to pay. We have never sought a lowering of our tax bill, and we have been repeatedly told it sometimes takes years in Cook County for the appraisals to catch up.” Bradley said.
