Brandon is an American journalist working as an anchor and reporter at WJBK/Fox 2 News in Detroit, Michigan. He co-anchors the weekday 11 a.m. newscast and reports for Fox 2 news at 5 and 6 p.m. He is eager to start his new adventures in Michigan and the Metro Detroit area. Brandon began his broadcasting career as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WDHN in Dothan, Alabama. He then moved to FOX 44/ABC 22 in Burlington, Vermont, where he served as a reporter and fill-in news and sports anchor.
After two years in Vermont, Brandon relocated to Pittsburg and landed a job as a Reporter and Fill-in Sports Anchor at WPXI-TV. In March 2016, he was hired as a reporter at NBCUniversal Media, LLC in Philadelphia. While in Philadelphia, Brandon covered the Eagles Super Bowl season, the Bill Cosby sexual assault trials, the release of rapper Meek Mill from prison, and the Villanova men’s basketball championships.
The most significant work came in 2020, during Philadelphia’s civil uprising. After George Floyd passed away, there was a very dramatic week that started with violent protests one weekend and finished with one of the biggest peace marches the next. Actually, the epidemic offered an opportunity to strengthen ties throughout the community and give voice to those who felt unheard. Brandon hopes to bring that same motivation to Detroit.
