Wagner anchored in the morning, reported, produced, edited, and was also a photojournalist at kxii from 1994 until 1995. Brooke joined the WTAJ team in 1995 as a midday newscaster and solo anchor in the morning and reported for Girls Club and the Boys on the Child show aired on Wednesday. Additionally, she also worked as the main anchor at KTBC-TV (Fox Television Stations) for three years.

Brooke joined KSWB-TV, San Diego (Tribune Media) team as the main anchor and produced, wrote, and edited nightly health segments. Also, she assisted in raising funds for organizations on television, radio, and different events including Hospitals like St. Jude Children’s. Wagner was transfused blood for life-saving and therefore advocates blood donations and awareness of mental health.

Wagner worked at CBS News from Oct 2002 till Dec 2012 as a Weekday Anchor and later as a Communications Coach (freelance) at TVContract for four months in Denver. Therefore, she was a media trainer, and talent coach and wrote a strategic plan for a successful small business.
