Chad was a former collegiate athlete who played baseball for Schreiner University for a year before enrolling at Texas Christian University to study sports broadcasting. He was employed at TCU’s campus radio station, KTCU 88.7 FM as a sports broadcaster and producer.
Chad moved to the West in 2021 to attend Arizona State University and obtain a master’s degree in sports journalism. While in Arizona, he also worked as an intern at Arizona Family 3TV CBS 5 in Phoenix. Chad takes pleasure in every aspect of the Lonestar State, from humidity to kolaches and country music.
