Thereafter, she worked her way to the top and became a reporter and weekend anchor. Before Gina left the desert for the beach, she served at Channel 3 for 10 years. Additionally, she anchored and reported at BayNews9 in Tampa, Florida, where she did Florida’s 2004 presidential campaign, Central Command during the start of the Iraq war, and the explosion of the Space Shuttle Columbia.

Finally, Maravilla returned to Phoenix, the birthplace of her beautiful twins, and back with the Arizona Family. Plus she loves being there for the community and assisting others where she can. Maravilla began her journalism career at 3TV while she was still a 19-year-old intern. Later she was promoted to being their reporter and weekend anchor after working her way to the top. However, she did not originally start off at 3TV but joined after resigning from Channel 3.
