Booth started by broadcasting for the school radio while he was still in school and doing weekly network shows on a community channel. Then after graduation, he got a job on TV at WOAY in West Virginia in 2002 doing climate, shooting, and news anchoring. After, he went to WLIO in Lima to undertake morning climate updates. Next, he was called to KGMB in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2002 as the climate anchor which took him to the center of the Pacific Ocean.
There, he continued his journey and procured his American Meteorology Society and National Weather Association seals. Additionally, in 2007, he helped send the morning broadcast “Sunrise on KGMB” as the morning meteorologist and traffic correspondent. Later in 2009, he returned home to see his newest family member and share time with his family.
In addition, Jeff became the chief meteorologist at WKEF and WRGT in Dayton, Ohio after moving on from KGMB at the same time having his third child. Then he landed at CBS10 where he is currently working as a meteorologist in Columbus, Ohio.
