In Lexington, she made her network debut on CNN throughout the Northpoint Prison riots and reported for the Weather Channel when a huge snowstorm pounded Kentucky.
In 2009, a lethal tornado ripped through parts of Central Kentucky. In addition, she was accorded an Emmy for her spot news broadcast of the storm’s after-effects. Later, she migrated to New York from Las Vegas, where she was selected for nine Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards, counting best news anchor and best live event anchoring.
