In 2013, she aided Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in advancing a grant used to build their in-hospital TV studio. To boot, she serves as an advocate for people with dysfunctions and is a vital community member of the Wow Center. The center is a training center that supports and serves adults with developmental dysfunctions.
Moreover, she serves the Jason Taylor Foundation, Special Olympics of South Florida, and Health in the Hood as a volunteer. Furthermore, in 2020, Ocean Drive Magazine dubbed her one of their “Women of Influence” for her contributions to the community before and throughout the Corona Virus pandemic.
