Kelsey fell deeply in love with the weather in middle school after working on the Daily Almanac and having a meteorologist from a Boston TV station visit her school. She began her career as a multimedia journalist and meteorologist at WREX-TV in Rockford, Illinois, before joining WLNS-TV. While in Rockford, she experienced every type of weather extreme the Midwest had to offer including a few tornadoes.

When she is not working, she’s either discovering new parks to read in and take in the scenery, conversing with her family and friends back in New England, or picking up a new crochet pattern. Additionally, she enjoys watching reruns of classic TV episodes like M*A*S*H, ER, and any food show, as well as searching for adorable cat videos. Kelsey is eager to see everything Michigan has to offer after meeting some incredible individuals here!
