Juarez joined ABC7 Eyewitness News in the Inland Empire in 2010 and works as a general assignment reporter there. Leticia started her career as an intern at a Palmdale cable station and quickly moved up to general assignment reporter.
She wrote about the kidnapping of two teenagers in the Antelope Valley, which led to the first Amber Alert for the state. She started working for KMIR-TV in Palm Springs as a producer and general assignment reporter in 2003. Leticia covered the California wildfires, which forced her family to evacuate their home, during her tenure.
In 2005, she started working as a general assignment reporter for KERO-TV in Bakersfield. In 2007, Leticia moved to Houston, Texas, where she worked as a morning reporter for KHOU-TV. Leticia reported on Hurricane Ike as it struck Bayou City in September 2008.
She wrote articles about the efforts to find the missing and recover from Ike. In 2009, she joined KIAH-TV. For her work on “First Eyes on the Black Tide,” Leticia won a Lone Star Emmy for her coverage of the Louisiana oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
