Additionally, she went on to serve as an intern and later served as a news assistant t at 24-hour local cable station NY1. While there, her love for politics developed and she provided coverage for the state senate coup in Albany.
During her last semester in college, an earthquake in Haiti occurred. Immediately, she took a camera and implanted with a medical group that went to Haiti from Atlanta. While there, she personally witnessed the meaning of human compassion. After graduating college, she went on to serve Univision Orlando as a reporter and an anchor.
During her quarter-century there, she interviewed former Florida Governor, Charlie Crist, and Senator Marco Rubio while they ran against each other in primaries. Also, Casey Anthony went on trial for the killing of her 2-year-old daughter while she was there. Moreover, she provided coverage for the trial gavel to gavel and the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa.
Later, she went on to serve WESH-TV. While there, she provided coverage for the George Zimmerman trial. However, her most memorable story is a sinkhole in Seffner that strictly swallowed a man as he was sleeping.
