Further, he joined the FOX 11 Morning News and Good Day LA teams in April 2005 after working for three years as the weekend weather anchor at FOX.
Upon joining the station in 1990, he initially served as an intern. Later, he was employed to serve as a production assistant. Moreover, he assisted in the debut of the Fox 11 Morning News and Good Day LA in 1993. In 2000, he attained a Golden Mike Award for best traffic reporter in Los Angeles. Also, he garnered multiple Emmys for his segment on Good Day LA.
Nonetheless, he began his on-screen career in January 1998 when he served the ABC affiliate in Santa Barbara, KEYT-TV as the weekend meteorologist. In addition, he was nominated as a full member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) in 1994. To boot, he is acknowledged as a meteorologist by the organization.
