Nonetheless, she began her career when she served behind the scenes at CNN in Los Angeles. This is where her career launched.b Prior to FOX 5 DC, she served in Sacramento at KOVR CBS for four years as a weeknight evening reporter and anchor.
While there, she provided coverage for state politics and big breaking news stories. For instance, she covered the mass shootings in Gilroy and Las Vegas, the Northern California wildfires, and terrorism and immigration stories. Additionally, she served in Santa Barbara at KEYT ABC as an anchor and a reporter. Also, she says her favorite interview was Oprah.
Further, she voices that the story that had the most massive effect on her was the nearly two years nonstop broadcast of the vexed police shooting of Stephon Clark in Sacramento. The broadcast drew the state’s attention. On a side note, she loves food and is always hunting for a good concert or live music event.
