Stephanie Ruhle Elon Musk

After the left-leaning anchor criticized Musk’s decision to post a negative Hunter Biden meme, Musk, and MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle engaged in a verbal altercation on Wednesday. Ruhle slammed Musk in response to the post, which included the caption “Hunter Biden every time he buys crack and hookers” and a picture of a man with a number of cameras strapped to his head.

Imagine how much good you could do for the world if you used your extraordinary influence and power to spread goodwill, kindness, and optimism. In response to Musk’s meme, the host of the cable network show “The 11th Hour” tweeted. Upon which Musk responded: Imagine what MSNBC would do. The latest episode in a long-running rivalry between Musk and MSNBC personalities was a verbal spat. In May, in response to MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan’s monologue, Musk lashed out at NBC networks.

Hasan had called the billionaire’s $44 billion attempt to take over Twitter an “unspeakably dangerous moment” and suggested that doing so would give the social media platform to “the far right.” Hasan jokingly stated at the time, “If that occurs, we may look back on this week as a pivotal moment, when a petulant and not-so-bright billionaire casually purchased one of the most influential messaging machines and just handed it to the far right.”

Musk responded by pointing to the network’s mishandling of the Harvey Weinstein story, its failure to cover The Post’s reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop, and the sexual harassment scandal involving former Today” anchor Matt Lauer.

The same organization that hid the laptop story about Hunter Biden also killed Harvey Weinstein’s story early on and built Matt Lauer his rape office. Musk wrote, “Lovely people,” in a tweet that has since vanished from his page. MSNBC has been contacted by Post for comment regarding Musk’s remarks.
