Quinn is an anchor for ABC 33/40 News where he anchors the network weekday evening at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. newscasts. Additionally, he also anchors the network’s headlines from the Live Desk at 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. He also played a pivotal role in the network’s coverage of several headlines including the damage caused by Hurricanes Michael and Harvey across the South.
Prior to joining the network in September 2015, he was tenured in Mobile, Alabama at WPMI-TV as the morning reporter. There he reported for Local 15 Today on the morning newscasts from 5-7 am. Previously, he was tenured at WRC-TV in May 2012 as an intern. There he helped report and produce original content for the weekly website series: “Worth The Drive.” Also shadowed reporters and producers daily and was also responsible for assisting the news assignment manager.
He was accorded by the Society of Professional Journalists the National Award for Television Breaking News Reporting. This was after his excellent work in covering Hurricane Isaac on the Mississippi Coast. Additionally, he is also recognized by the Southeastern Journalism Conference and the Mississippi Associated Press. Quinn is a fandom who spends much of his summer waiting on the college football season to get started.
