There she also got involved in the local chapter of the American Meteorology Society. She became the first woman to have graduated second in her class from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences. Sarallo also graduated with a B.S. in Geography.

Sarallo works for ABC 33 40 serving as a meteorologist. Before joining the network, she was tenured at WKRG in Mobile, serving as a weather producer. There she tracked several Hurricanes, during her time along the Gulf Coast including Hurricane Michael. It was during her tenure with well-respected and very experienced Meteorologists that she gained enough skills in tropical weather. Since third grade, Sarallo had a great to becoming a meteorologist after witnessing several storms occur.
She was later tenured at Atlanta’s top station as an intern while she was still a student at college. It was a summer of learning from some of the best veteran meteorologists in the business. She was later hired by the station as a weather producer after her internship. At the network, she served for more than two years prior to completing her degrees and is extremely grateful and more well-rounded for the invaluable experience that she gained. Later after her graduation, she was tenured at WDHN News in Dothan her first on-air TV job as the Chief Meteorologist.
There she acquired more skills and knowledge in forecasting tropical weather in the midst of the highly active 2017 hurricane season by beginning her career. During her free time, she is either at home watching weather coverage or geeking out tracking storms on her computer, phone, and many others. She also loves exploring new places, spending time with loved ones and friends, golfing, and loves her rescue cats Norman (named after the Storm Prediction Center location) and Sammie.
