Carmen started her broadcasting career as the weekend sports anchor at KCWY-TV in Casper, Wyoming, in 2010, following her graduation from Indiana University. She returned to the Midwest after two years and settled in Toledo, Ohio. After a year of hosting weekend sports at WNWO-TV, Carmen was given the chance to host sports Monday through Friday at WZVN-TV in Fort Myers, Florida. She picked up for Upstate New York a few years later.
Tori had to change her focus from sports to news as the weekend anchor at WSTM/WTVH-TV in Syracuse due to a curveball life threw her way. She learned more about herself and the world outside of football in those two years than she could have ever anticipated, and she came to the conclusion that she belonged in the news industry.
