However, it was in September 1997 that she got her first role as a weekend meteorologist for WTLV-TV, Jacksonville. Further, she went on to serve WPTV-TV, West Palm Beach as a weekend meteorologist and a weather producer.
Later, in May 2000 she went to serve The Weather Channel as an on-screen meteorologist. Moreover, she became the co-anchor of the PM Edition, which was known as Evening Edition at the time. Additionally, she talked at the 15th Annual Working Women’s Survival Show in March 2022. She talked about her career as a meteorologist and later departed from the network in 2008. Further, she worked for KXAS-TV, Dallas as a weekday morning meteorologist in June 2008.
Also, she replaced the 17-year veteran Rebecca Miller after a nationwide hunt for her successor. Additionally, in 2009 the morning news program was awarded a Lone Star Emmy Award while she was the station’s meteorologist. In November 2010, she partook in the Spokes for Hope charity occasion whereby she aided in the building of bicycles for disadvantaged children.
Later, in March 2019 she left KXAS. Last but not least in April 2013 she rejoined The Weather Channel and worked on weather updates during taped programming and was an on-screen meteorologist on Weather Center Live.
