Wycoff developed a passion for the weather at a tender age. He vividly remembers the “Storm of the Century” In the spring of 1993 which was burying the region under nearly two feet of snow. Besides, he also recalls a tornado that touched down near his hometown in 1996 which spiked his desire to become a meteorologist one day in his life.
Wycoff worked as an intern at WRC, and NBC Universal for a few months in 2008. Here, he tailored forecasts for Washington DC, N. Virginia, and Eastern Shore, MD. Additionally, he worked as an intern at WTNH, LIN Television for four months, and also at WBFF, Sinclair Broadcast Group for two months. However, he later joined Western Mass News in Springfield and worked as a meteorologist for about five years.
