Andy is an Emmy-award-winning reporter and is one of Iowa’s famous storytellers. His Iowa Icons and Andy Answers report having won many awards. He takes part in the commonly known “What’s Bugging Andy?” which is a commentary aired at Channel 13’s long-running call-in show “SoundOFF.”

Fales started his TV career at WJFW in Rhinelander, Wisconsin where he cried out of happiness. He enjoyed the three years he spent in the Northwoods which were wonderful and loves the area. Andy loves Wayne Gretzky when it comes to athletics and made him a beer run when he was producing the Brett Hull Show at KFNS Radio in St. Louis.

Though he has a degree in English, he first wanted to be a wildlife biologist due to his admiration for “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom”.
