Taylor attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a degree in atmospheric science in 2015. Even though she graduated as a Jayhawk, her loyalty lies elsewhere. She luckily spent her first two years of college at Kansas State University and hence will always be a Wildcat. She was known to wear her K-State gear around campus while attending KU. Her first time joining the Storm Track team at KNST News was in May of 2015. However, she took some time off to raise her two daughters. She’s excited to help out again on the weekends and has been back on air since July 2019.

Becky assists in running a small farm with her husband whenever off duty and hence the couple raise their own meat, grows their own produce, and harvests honey and beeswax from their honey bees. She loves baking and cooking farm-to-table meals for her family and friends.
