Brynn is an American journalist working as a Goodmorning anchor at KRDO NewsChannel 13 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born and raised in Centennial, but at an early age, her love of figure skating brought her to the prestigious World Arena. As she advanced through the competitive skating ranks, she trained with the Broadmoor Skating Club from 2005 to 2011. She was fortunate enough to represent Team USA both nationally and internationally during her 14-year career as a figure skater.
Brynn and her pair partner took home the Novice National Pair Championship in 2008. She has also won four national medals and competed in the Junior World thrice. Having grown to 5’7″, she finished her pair career in 2013 and enrolled at Colorado State University to pursue her next passion. What first drew her to a career in journalism was being interviewed at an early age about her successes in skating. During her time in college, she served as an intern at FOX5 WAGA in Georgia.
After graduating, Brynn got a job as a weekend anchor/reporter at WOI in Des Moines, Iowa. She reported numerous topics that attracted national attention while she was in the Heartland. Brynn dedicated weeks to the task of obtaining information regarding Mollie Tibbetts’s disappearance and murder. Additionally, she covered the devastating floods in 2018 that left dozens of individuals without a place to live in Central Iowa.
Two of her most well-known interviews were with Maddie Poppe, the Clarksville, Iowa, 2018 American Idol champion, and Vice President Mike Pence. Brynn is happy to be back home where she can spend time with her loved ones, friends, and the wonderful outdoors.
