Derwin’s memorable highlight was covering the 75th Heisman Trophy ceremony. He has also worked at News 12, as a Sports Videographer/Reporter. This is where he focused on the local sports scene and managed work for the News 12 Networks for 4 years. Thereafter in 2015, Worrell served at the Herald-Mail Media in Hagerstown, Maryland as a Sports Anchor/Reporter.
This is where he managed to cover the local sports scene and also covered President Barack Obama when he came to speak at a Fallen Fire Fighters ceremony. Derwin loves watching sports, especially when it comes to the NFL and also loves talking. He has been lucky to cover the NBA, NHL, MLB, and NFL games and has set a goal to cover the NFL for an all-sports network eventually.
