After completing her high school studies at Santa Teresa High School, Dorsey enrolled in San Jose State University in 2011. Later, in 2015 he became its graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. While growing up, he watched sports and cheered for the Warriors, A’s, Sharks, and Cowboys. And, he played sports counting swimming, football, and basketball to list a few. Also, in his senior year at Santa Teresa High School, he took journalism where he anchored the Wednesday morning broadcast.

Dorsey works for KGO as a multi-skilled reporter for ABC 7 News. He joined ABC 7 team in February 2021. After completing his undergraduate studies, he went to little Wilmington where he served WWAY-TV as a multi-media journalist.
During his tenure there, he broadcasted, a Donald Trump presidential rally, a Black Panther Party protest, and Hurricane Matthew among other numerous stories. 6 months after serving the station, he got upgraded to serve as a sports director.
When he was younger his broadcasting idol was Rich Eisen hence he became a sports anchor. While serving as a sports director, he broadcasted a PGA Tour Championship, March Madness, and the NCAA baseball regional. Also, he told the small-town stories of the athletes in Southeastern North Carolina and witnessed many head to greatness. Two years later, he left the station and joined the ABC 7 team.
