Before that, Wallace was a News Trainee at NBC4 News (KNBC-TV) in Universal City, CA.

Eytan Wallace is an American journalist currently working at FOX 40 News as a multimedia journalist and reporter. He takes great pleasure in telling the tales of people who live in northern California, and he is thrilled to be living in gorgeous Sacramento. Having read and watched local and national news since he was a small child, Eytan has always had a strong interest in broadcast journalism. While attending Milken Community High School, he directed, produced, and anchored the weekly news program “The Milken Video News.” Eytan’s high school experiences inspired him to major in broadcast journalism in college.
Wallace got active in a variety of activities while attending the University of Southern California, but his involvement with Annenberg TV News (ATVN), the school’s student-run news program, stood out. Eytan was excited to work one-on-one with Conan Nolan, the station’s chief political reporter, as NBC4/LA’s political news intern while he was still in USC. For a long time, Eytan has been a fan of KNBC and its talent, especially the esteemed news anchor Chuck Henry.
Additionally, Eytan worked as an intern with Lester Holt at NBC Nightly News’ West Coast Bureau. Eytan and Holt recently reconnected, this time at the USC campus’ Annenberg Media Center. In his last year at USC, Eytan worked at the busy assignment desk of KNBC, pitching stories and assisting with field crew coordination.
Before coming to FOX40 in August 2021, Eytan spent three years working as a multimedia journalist for Bakersfield’s NBC affiliate, KGET-TV 17. He covered the dynamic political scene in the Central Valley there, where he got the chance to speak with and interview people from a wide range of political backgrounds, including state legislators, local school board members, members of Congress, and presidential contenders. More significantly, Eytan gained the community’s trust for his unbiased and truthful reporting while working at KGET, where he also won an Emmy Award for his coverage leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
Additionally, Eytan spent months investigating claims of financial mismanagement at the Kern County Fair. Additionally, he was the first reporter on the ground during a series of strong earthquakes that rocked Ridgecrest, including the US Naval Air Weapons Station of China Lake. Eytan is also passionate about politics. He has worked on several campaigns in his neighborhood to gain firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of politics. Despite the fact that Eytan’s three voluntary efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, he hasn’t lost hope.
