Prior to Baltimore, she served in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at WVLA and WGMB as a meteorologist from November 2019 to August 2021. During her time there, she provided coverage for a wide range of drastic weather.
In 2020, she provided coverage for the Easter tornado outbreak that devastated northern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Also, she provided coverage for the record-breaking hurricane season where five storms made landfall in Louisiana. Three of the storms were hurricanes. In February 2021, she broadcasted the ice storm that caused a power outage in Louisiana thus leaving many Louisianians without power.
Prior to Baton Rouge, she served as an intern with EarthShare, an environmental federation based in Bethesda. Via her internship, she visited a number of government agencies to speak about climate change and what EarthShare does to aid the environment. Further, she is a self-acclaimed foodie who enjoys exploring the numerous food options across Maryland. To boot, she enjoys spending time with her dog.
