Later, she moved on to Clarksburg, West Virginia, and served as an evening Anchor\Reporter\Producer at WDTV, Newschannel 5.
Thereafter, she laid down roots in Charleston, West Virginia at WSAZ TV-3 for 10 years. This is where she was quickly promoted from Reporter\Anchor to Evening Anchor. Additionally, while still at W.V., Jessica was honored by the South Charleston Womens’ Club as a “Woman of Achievement”. Also, she was honored by the Mayor’s office with a “Key To The City Of Charleston”. However, Jessica left West Virginia for the bright lights of “Music City” to Nashville and WTVF Newschannel 5.
