Dias works for WCBS as a reporter. He joined the CBS New York News team in November 2017. Further, he has served the station for more than half a decade. Nonetheless, he got his initial job when he served KREX-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado as a multimedia journalist. During his streak there, he pursued wildfires and reported on politics and stories that made history, such as the Aurora Theater shooting.
Also, he shot, wrote, and edited his own stories. Prior to CBS New York, he served News 12 Networks as an anchor and a reporter for just about five years. Moreover, he was key in exposing the story about a lethal Legionnaires outbreak in the Bronx, and the biggest gang takedown New York City has ever observed.
When he is not hunting news stories, he enjoys traveling with his family and friends. Furthermore, Montauk, New York, and Telluride, Colorado, are his two favorite places in the world. To boot, he is an ardent runner and finished his first marathon in 2019. Additionally, he voices that their radio program, WSHR, got him interested in broadcast journalism.
