Kegges was a weather intern at WTAE-TV Hearst Pittsburgh in 2010 for four months in Greater Pittsburgh Area. He was supervised by Demetrius Ivory, Erin Kienzle and Stephen Cropper as a he put together forecasts and built graphics using Weather Central. Thereafter, Jonathan joined KTTC-TV team as their weekend Meteorologist in 2011. Therefore, he successfully worked in Rochester, Minnesota for four years that is till February 2015.
While at KTTC-TV Kegges roduced and presented weather forecasts live on weekends. Also, he actively contributed to the Rochester Post Bulletin by constructing short weather discussions. Further, Jonathan provided an in-game audio weather forecast to the Rochester Honkers baseball. He actively updated the stations social media accounts and did weekdays report as well as creating packages on topics like science/environmental or weather related.
Jonathan is currently working at WKMG News 6 as a Weekend Morning Meteorologist since June 2019 in Orlando, Florida Area. Therefore, he is a huge fan of Pirates, Steelers, Penguins, and of course, Nittany Lions.
