Jorge began his broadcasting career as a reporter at WIFR in Rockford, Illinois. There, he had his first experience in the news industry before moving further north into hostile territory to cover northeast Wisconsin at WBAY in Green Bay. It wasn’t always easy being a Bears fan in Packers country, but that’s where Jorge found his love for storytelling.
After that, Jorge moved to Austin, Texas, to work as a morning anchor for NBC station KXAN. Subsequently, he worked as an anchor and reporter at WWMT in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and later returned to Wisconsin to work as a reporter at Spectrum News 1. Jorge loves the Cubs, Bears, and music.
