Later, she served in Columbus, Ohio at WBNS-TV where she worked as a traffic reporter and served the station for 15 years. Upon joining the station in she served as a general assignment reporter and was upgraded to the weekday morning anchor.
While there, she gained an Emmy for her breaking news broadcast of a huge train derailment. Additionally, she spent 7 hours on a helicopter in order to shoot the broadcast and report on the crisis.
During her quarter-century there, she volunteered and served as an Mc on events for multiple nonprofit organizations. Additionally, she is a big sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Also, she was on the board of Columbus Fashion Council and Fairy Goodmothers. To boot, she acted as the Metro Parks spokesperson.
When she’s not working, she loves the outdoors, aiding people in learning about nature and public fairs. Moreover, she enjoys delicious food, visiting her nieces and nephews, and traveling the world.
