Her passion for sports broadcasting journalist spiked way back when she was in grade 6. This was after she spent her free time going to sporting events with her Dad in Los Angeles, California, growing up. Additionally, Mary had season tickets to all kinds of sports, from the Los Angeles Kings to USC football and volleyball. Therefore, through all these experiences, Rominger developed a deep passion for sports and their culture. She is hence excited to convey that to an audience with a similar passion to mine is all the more rewarding.
Mary admires different individuals like the methodology of Colin Cowherd, the storytelling of Vin Scully, the voice of Bob Miller, the spirit of John Wooden, the talent of Anze Kopitar, the selflessness of her family, and many more.
Rominger is a die-hard Weezer fan and also enjoys listening to Los Angeles-based rappers and Eric Church. Also, Mary loves watching Hockey because she has a deeper understanding of the game itself relative to other professional sports. Although – baseball, football, golf, volleyball, lacrosse, and all Olympic sports give me equivalent joy. Obtaining her first full-time job at KEYC-TV is one of her proudest moments after four years of grinding through college to develop herself as a sportscaster
