Miller is originally from the Midwest and is excited to be in Kansas covering some of the best and most-active weather in the country. Prior to moving to Topeka in 2005, he served at WATE-TV in Knoxville, TN, and KAMC/KLBK in Lubbock, TX.
In addition to the nightly forecasting, Matt also lectures on Meteorology courses at Washburn University. Also, he visits several area classrooms to teach children about the weather. Whenever he is not talking about the weather, he loves to spend time with his family. He, his wife, and their three kids actively participate in the Topeka community.
