He soaked up the weather and enjoyed the beaches during his many summer visits to his extended family in Fort Lauderdale.
Muhammad battled the severe Midwest winters as a multimedia journalist and weekend anchor at WJFW, an NBC station in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, for two years prior to relocating to Southwest Florida. He got national recognition from NBC News, CNN, and FOX on a carnival ride that trapped numerous people upside down for several hours. He covered a wide range of stories, from childcare difficulties to city redevelopment. It was also there that he got the opportunity to interview Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, two of KISS’s rock stars.
Muhammad enjoys art, football, and the great outdoors when he’s not watching the news or searching for his next big story. He is thrilled to be able to share stories here in Southwest Florida—also referred to as paradise.
