Upon joining the station, he initially served as a morning show producer for years and 3 months prior to his current role. During his college years, he served the awarded Southeastern Channel on“Northshore News” and “The Big Game” as a reporter, anchor, and producer.

Further, he attained honors from the Videographer awards and the Regional mark of Excellence honors from the Society of Professional Journalists. Nonetheless, his initial job upon his graduation was in Lafayette. While in Lafayette, he served KATC as a morning show producer of “Good Morning Acadiana” on Channel 3 news.

Also, he served as substitute sports and news reporter. In 2016, his morning newscast gained 2nd place in the Associated Press Louisiana-Mississippi Broadcasters competition. Moreover, he was employed by KTBS in Shreveport in 2018. During his stint with the station, he served as a news reporter and the station’s East Texas correspondent.
