When you enjoy what you do, time really does fly by. Snow, rain, or sunlight Robin is excited to wake you up every morning starting at 4:00 a.m.!

Robin finds it easy to wake up early because every day is different. She may be seen knee-deep in a muck hole surrounded by hundreds of children, or standing alongside an ice-covered Metro Detroit freeway, providing live news from a horrific shooting scene. Sometimes Robin gets to tell you about heroic deeds, and other times she gets to tell you about things that break her heart. She does it because YOU should be aware of what is going on in your surroundings.

Robin started her journalism career in Alpena, Michigan many, many years ago. After that, she held stints at stations in Cadillac and Knoxville, Tennessee. She finally moved to Detroit in 2009. If she’s not at FOX 2, you can probably find her at a baseball park with her twin boys and daughter. She’s very proud of the people her children have grown into. Robin also skates with Detroit Roller Derby, and yes, the hits are real and hurt! Her only regret is that she doesn’t have more time to travel and explore the incredible world we live in. She really wants to go on a safari! Going on a safari is on her bucket list!
