Sarah began her career at Central Connecticut State University, where she was an active member of CCSU TV and the Editor-in-Chief of The Recorder, the student-run newspaper.

Before graduating, Sarah interned at Al Arabiya in Washington, D.C., where she helped with international affairs coverage and attended press briefings at the State Department and the White House. She also worked as an Associate Producer for NBC Connecticut. Sarah began her broadcasting career officially at WETM-TV (NBC) in Elmira, New York. She spent one year and five months there as a political reporter, anchor, and multimedia journalist.

While working at WETM-TV, she focused extensively on the Hochul Administration and the 2022 gubernatorial election in addition to covering the accusations against former governor Andrew Cuomo that finally resulted in his resignation. The New York State Broadcasters Association honored Sarah with an award for her coverage of the “Steuben County child killer.”
