Besides, he was a quarterback during campus life. Burton began his career at New England Sports Network(NESN) as a sports anchor and reporter. He hosted game shows for the Boston Red Sox. Steve joined WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV in 1994 as a sports reporter and anchor.
Additionally, he can be seen on the weekly program Sports Final. Also when Bob Lobel is away, he fills in as a host and is seen on the station’s Patriots 5th Quarter show. Steve was promoted to the position of sports director after Bob Lobel was fired in April 2008.
