Bradby has worked for ITV since 1990 when he joined the organization as an editorial intern. He was ITV’s Ireland correspondent from 1993 to 1996, covering events such as the Northern Ireland peace process, the IRA ceasefire and the visit of Bill Clinton in Ireland in November 1995. Bradby got promoted to ITV’s Asia correspondent. He got injured in October 1999 while covering riots in Jakarta against newly elected President Abdurrahman Wahid.
Bradby went back Britain and started working as a royal correspondent, where he covered a number of important stories. Later becoming UK Editor and then Politics Editor, taking up this post in 2005. 16. November 2010. Bradby conducted the first official interview of Prince William and Kate Middleton at St James’s Palace after the couple announced their engagement. It was reported that Bradby was specifically handpicked for the interview due to her longstanding relationship with Prince William. Then he was invited to her wedding.
Bradby was working on a BBC documentary about Prince Harry’s charity work in Lesotho in 2016 and got to know him pretty well.
