Slowly, he climbed the rank ladder and became an on-camera meteorologist. While there, he worked closely alongside some of the best specialists in the field. Also, he broadcasted drastic weather, snowstorms, and hurricanes both in the studio and in the field.
Of late, he provided coverage for Hurricane Irene in New Jersey that caused wrecking floods and beach erosion over parts of New England and the Northeast. Before that, he served The Weather Network outside of Toronto, Canada where he earned a good sense for forecasting and how best to relay relevant weather information to the audience
Berg served as a forecaster and briefed the on-screen presenters. On a side note, the two stations are sister companies. In addition, he loves linking with the people of South Florida. As much as possible, he plans on getting involved with community events and organizations.
