Kehm began her broadcasting career in 2000 working as a 24-hour News Update Anchor at WGAL-TV. She then joined WFMZ-TV as an Assignment Editor in Allentown PA. In September 2002, Kehm moved to Harrisonburg and landed a job at WHSV-TV. She spent almost four years there working as a Weekend Anchor/Producer and weekday Reporter.

In May 2006, Kehm joined WHTM/ ABC 27 News in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. She worked as a reporter, producer, and weekend anchor till 2011. After that, she was hired as the producer of Lowcountry Live at WCIV in Charleston, South Carolina. In March 2013 she moved to Baltimore, MD, and landed a Producer/Reporter job at WBFF-TV, Fox45. She spent 12 years in Mount Pleasant working as a Freelance Writer for the Charleston Living Magazine before joining ABC 27 News in 2013.
