Edward is a Scottish broadcaster currently working for ITN as the China correspondent for ITV News. Edward joined STV in 2005 as a journalist and presenter in Scotland. Today’s weekday morning bulletins at 5:25 am on GMTV and occasional weekend bulletins. In 2007 he co-hosted STV magazine’s daily show The Five Thirty Show with Stephen Jardine. Edward left The Five Thirty Show in May 2008 to become ITN’s Scotland correspondent and was replaced by former ITV Morning News presenter Rachel McTavish.
She was appointed ITV News’ China correspondent in February 2016. Edward traveled to Australia during the 2019/2020 bushfire crisis as part of her job as a foreign correspondent. While visiting Kangaroo Island (South Australia), she was the target of a joke involving a bear, whose reaction went viral and boosted the morale of the entire Australian population.
