She co-anchors the 10 p.m. weeknight newscast on WSFL and also reports on Local 10 News. Prior to joining WLPG she earlier on anchored the weekday dawn and midday newscast in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has served as a morning broadcaster and a fill-in anchor in Madison. Checkol got her development in Duluth, Minnesota where she used to write, shoot, and edit stories for the band on NBC/CBS.
Eden is of Ethiopian descent and is fluent in the country’s national language—Amharic. She loves to sing, spend time with family, and catch up on TV shows. From Monday to Friday she formally served the 4.30 am and as an edition anchor at WISN 12 News ” This Morning” and 12 News at 11 am. Later she attended WISN 12 as the weekend morning anchor/Reporter where she anchored many newscasts in 2017.
