He then moved to KTBC News in Autin, Texas to work as the weekend anchor and reporter. He covered the crash of the space shuttle Columbia on the borders of Texas and Louisiana. He also covered the Gulf Oil Spill in Louisiana and also covered President Barack Obama’s visit to Texas.
