From January 1995 to October 1995, she served as an anchor of the WGN Morning News. In addition, she has served the station for more than 2 and a half decades. Prior to WGN, she served WMAQ-TV in Chicago as a reporter and a weekend anchor.

Further, she served in West Palm Beach, Florida at WPEC-TV as a reporter and a noon anchor. Apart from supplying in-depth broadcasts of local stories, she has provided coverage for stories from foreign international scenes. For instance, Africa and Paris, France. Moreover, following Hurricane Katrina, she provided Chicago with the story, “Into the Darkness.” 

The story profiled two local pilots and their crew who arrived first in New Orleans and assisted in rescuing hundreds of trapped residents. Additionally, she used vision goggles to recreate the rescue for viewers. Also,“Into the Darkness” secured the Illinois Associated Press award: Best Hard News Feature.
