Carabeo works for KYW as a weekend morning anchor for CBS3 Eyewitness News since January 2017. She joined the CBS 3 News team in March 2014. Upon joining the station, she initially served as a reporter. Further, she has served the station for more than half a decade. Prior to Philadelphia, she served in Hartford, Connecticut as a reporter and anchor at WTIC.
While there, she served on the morning news program. Furthermore, she served in Syracuse at WSYR as a reporter. Moreover, she served at WICZ-TV and WIVT-TV/WBGH-TV both in Binghamton as a reporter. Through her reporting, she attained a New York Associated Press award in 2011 for Best News Series, “Gold Star Mom.” The series is about a mother’s struggles against the Department of Motor Vehicles to keep a commemorative license plate in honor of her son who died in Vietnam.
